Chelsea will have their sights set on leapfrogging Manchester United into second spot after beating Brighton on Boxing Day.
The Blues closed the gap to United to just one point as Jose Mourinho's men dropped two points at home to this season's surprise package Burnley.
And Antonio Conte's Blues will hope to make further ground when they welcome a struggling Stoke side at 15:00 GMT this afternoon.
Elsewhere, Liverpool will hope to continue their ruthless streak in front of goal when Leicester visit today.
The Reds have scored 12 in three Premier League matches and have not lost in all competitions since they were beaten by Tottenham at Wembley in October.
Jurgen Klopp's men know victory against Leicester will keep them inside the top four at the turn of the year.
