A reliable source at the club told Ghanacrusader.com that talks between the two parties have begun with ex-Kotoko trainer stating that they are very positive of landing him.
Hayford resigned from Ashanti Gold early last season after he was given a three-match ultimatum by management to transform the fortunes of the club. In 2015, he led the Obuasi-based club to a first Ghana Premier League title since 1996.
