Ayiah, who came under intense criticisms during the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Under-17 World Cup in India recently, told the GNA Sports that, “I am not perturbed nor discouraged, when I hear people criticize me.
“Criticisms help me to grow as an individual and a footballer and so I am highly motivated by that.” He said.
According to the young striker “he is in a learning process and as such must grow a thick skin for criticisms.
“As a young player with ambitions, I take criticisms in good faith and try to build on what is being talked about.
“It helps me to focus on what is ahead. I hope to achieve my set goals in the near future.” He added.
The Black Starlets captain led a select side “Ayiah 11” to defeat Division Two side Charity FC 4-2, with goals Ayiah, Emmanuel Toku, Andrew Laryea and Najeeb Yakubu, whilst Frank Abbeyson and Bernard Bissah scored for Charity Stars FC. Read Full Story
