We must beat Egypt - Oti Akenteng

Ghana Football Association technical director, Francis Oti Akenteng says the stakes are high and everyone is looking up to Kwesi Appiah to deliver on Sunday against Egypt.

The GFA Technical boss insists that the 6-1 win over Egypt by Appiah four years ago is fresh in the minds of Ghana and every football loving fan is expecting another win.

“Yes the expectations are very high because is the same Kwesi Appiah who led Ghana to beat them 6-1 four years ago.” Oti Akenteng told footballmadeinghana.com

“We must do every thing possible to win at all course although Appiah is preparing a team for 2019 and has also introduced some young and new faces into the team but all the same that should not be an excuse”

“Let us suport him to achieve his objectives because he has been mandated to win 2019 AFCON at all cost.”

Egypt who have already qualified for next year’s mundial beat Ghana 2-0 in the first leg in Cairo.
