The training is to educate the clearing agents on the paperless directive and the joint inspection by regulatory agencies expected to take off at the ports by September 1st in order to ensure trade compliance.
Deputy Commissioner, Operations at the Customs Division of the GRA, Christiana Akoto Banfo said the reforms will transform the activities at the ports and make them competitive in the sub region.
Officers of the Customs Division of the GRA explained how the joint inspections would be carried out.
