Speaking on the Football Legends Night Show on GH One at the weekend, Muntari said, he wants to be a constant presence in the life of his child.
“I am talking with a few clubs and after I will decide with the family where to choose.”
Asked if he would prefer to stay in Italy, the former AC Milan player said “ I live here, I love Italian football so yeah If I have a good deal here, of course, I am going to stay.”
Despite his preference to stay in Italy, Muntari said he would be open to a move to another country, as long as his family is in support of it.
“Yes, I don’t mind but definitely I will have to discuss that with my family because they are very important to me and I have a little kid, so I have to be around him and that matters too. Now I don’t really care about myself. What I care about more is my family, and what they want. So whatever and wherever they want me go is where I will go. For me I just want to be near my family.”
Muntari is currently without a club after leaving relegated Italian side Pescara. The 32 year old played in three (3)FIFA World Cups with the Black Stars (2006, 2010 & 2014).
He is currently on suspension following his role in Ghana’s disastrous 2014 World Cup campaign in Brazil, which saw the Black Stars exiting the tournament at the Group stages.
