NDC bigwigs want me to contest for Youth Organizer position - John Dumelo

Award winning actor and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dumelo has said there is pressure mounted on him to contest for the National Youth organizer position in the National Democratic Congress.

The Actor made this disclosure in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM.

He said “Honestly speaking I’ve been getting a lot of calls” to run for the position”.

Although there is pressure been mounted on him, the actor thinks it’s too early to declare his intentions but indicated that he is for the forward going of Ghana and is willing to serve under any government to ensure the growth of the country.

He said “I’m a youth and I am committed to championing the cause of the youth in this country; whether NDC or the governing NPP [New Patriotic Party]…So the feeling is there. I just want Ghana to develop in the right direction whether NDC or NPP”. Read Full Story
