Foreign Coaches can raise the standard of Ghana league - Zdravko Lugarusic

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach Zdravko Lugarusic says,expatriate coaches can help to improve the standard of the Ghana Premier league.

The Croatian however added that, local Coaches are doing a good job but foreign Coaches can introduce new techniques to improve the standard of football in Ghana.

"So many things can make the Ghanaian League improve, its not just a management issue but we foreign coaches can also bring something new like techniques to improve the standard of the League, We saw what Kenechi did at Hearts of Oak".

He also praised the exploits of Accra Hearts of Oak Coach Frank Nuttal and said "Frank is a good Coach with good personality".

Asante Kotoko parted ways with coach Zdravko Lugarusic this season after 11 games in the Premier League. Fans called for his head after a series of draws. He was replaced by English trainer Steve Pollack. Read Full Story
