The senior law lecturer at the University of Ghana insisted that the PCI was set up to redefine the brand of the Black Stars because the identity was lost and not because of the international embarrassment the players brought to the country.
The shocking contrasting comment of the former boxing commentator contradicts the mandate of the PCI which was to investigate the cause of the Black Stars poor show at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
“The point I want to us to make is why the Commission was established. The Commission was established because the brand Black Stars was dead, it was finished, it was over,” Foh Amoaning noted on The Football Legends Nights Show on GhOne TV on Friday night.

The PCI was set up in 2014 after the Black Stars’ shambolic display at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil to investigate the cause of Ghana’s embarrassment at the world stage and to make recommendations thereafter.
But members of the PCI, led by Justice Senyo-Dzamefe, turned a blind eye to that core mandate given them, stressing overly on the leadership of the federation, according to Moses’ revelation.
This notion appears to have been confirmed by Moses Foh Amoaning who has revealed the body was set up to re-live the Black Stars brand from its redundant position.
