Kwesi Appiah will decide Stars technical staff appointment – Sannie Darra

Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Darra has claimed his outfit will grant Black Stars head coach to decide on the technical staff he will work with.

Kwesi Appiah is yet to name his technical staff before he officially starts his duties as the head coach of the Black Stars on May 1st.

Several names include Stephen Appiah, Richard Kingston and Ibrahim Tanko has already emerged according to reports in the local media.

However, Sannie says the FA holds the sole right to do so but Kwesi Appiah will not be left out in the appointment for the technical staff for the Black Stars.

“We’ll do it in consultation with him but after all, we are the appointing authority, we pay the piper and give the direction of the national team, but he’ll have a say in who becomes a member of his backroom staff.” He told the media. Read Full Story
