He has demonstrated the qualities that saw him feature for FC Porto and Vitoria Guimaraes.
Addy, a member of the Ghana squad which won the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2009, has given the indication he is ready to for the national team.
''It depends on the coach, every coach has his players or the players he would like to work with,'' he told TV3.
''Some coaches like to have full-back with defensive mind other want offensive minded full-backs so it depends on the coach.
''But as a Ghanaian I am always ready anytime I am being called, I will just keep on working hard at Club level and do my best.''
