The two-storey dormitory block accommodating over 700 students was on Tuesday night gutted by fire displacing all students aside destroying their clothes and other learning materials.
The situation compelled school authorities to send first and second year students home while arrangements were underway to secure them alternative accommodation in the wake of final year students writing their West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSSCE).
The Regional Director who led a team from the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) to sympathize with staff and students of the school appealed to benevolent organizations and the general public to come to the aid of the displaced students.
