His comment comes after the Minister in an attempt to defend President Akufo-Addo's appointments of 110 ministers said the “NPP never promised a lean government.”
Mustapha Hamid opined that in the running of a government numbers does not matter.
“Nowhere did we ever promise a lean government because in our view it is not the leanness or bigness of a government that determines its output or its ultimate performance,” he said at a press conference on Wednesday.
Adding that - “We have had in the history of this country governments that are smaller that have landed this country in bigger debts and a bigger mess than governments that have had bigger ministers.”
His utterances compelled Koku Anyidoho to tag him as unknowledgeable.
“Mustapha Hamid talks like a kindergarten kid. He should tell that to the aliens,” he said on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
