Mohammed Kudus is expected to return to action for Tottenham Hotspur around 10 days after the international break, as the Ghana winger closes in on full fitness following a lengthy injury layoff.
Kudus has been sidelined since January after sustaining a thigh injury during Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland, missing 16 matches in the process. His absence has been a setback for the North London side, given his strong start to life at the club.
According to reports, the 23-year-old has resumed light training on the grass and is progressing well in his recovery. Spurs are now anticipating his return shortly after the international window.
Providing an update, journalist Alasdair Gold indicated that Kudus is nearing a comeback, although the timeline depends on how he responds in the final stages of rehabilitation.
“He’s doing some early grass work and should be back with the team. It sounded like he meant about 10 days after the international break,” Gold said.
Kudus’ return is expected to provide a timely boost for Tottenham as they look to strengthen their squad for the final stretch of the season.
