Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies remain on course for another meeting in the championship final of the Ghana Women’s Premier League after strong performances on matchday 15.
Ampem Darkoa lead the Northern Zone while Hasaacas Ladies sit top of the Southern Zone as the race for the title enters its final stages.
In the Southern Zone, Hasaacas Ladies maintained their three-point lead after coming from behind to defeat Soccer Intellectuals 2-1. Abiba Issah equalised for the visitors before Milot Pokuaa scored the winner to secure the points.
Elsewhere, Oak Ladies returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over Epiphany Warriors, while Army Ladies claimed an away win against LadyStrikers.
Jonina Ladies recorded a 3-0 victory over Halifax Queens, while Samartex Ladies held defending champions Police Ladies to a draw.
In the Northern Zone, Ampem Darkoa Ladies secured the biggest win of the weekend with a 3-1 triumph over Northern City Ladies.
Prisons Ladies picked up an away victory against FC Savannah, while Ashtown Ladies and Fosu Royals shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Northern Ladies also drew 1-1 with Dreamz Ladies, while Kumasi Sports Academy and Tamale Super Ladies played out a goalless draw.
With just three rounds remaining in the regular season, Ampem Darkoa hold a six-point lead in the Northern Zone, while Hasaacas Ladies are three points clear at the top of the Southern Zone.
