The head coach of Ghana’s Black Queens, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, is anticipating a tricky contest against Tanzania in their final match at the ongoing Pink Ladies Cup in Dubai, UAE.
The Black Queens currently top the standings at the tournament after securing wins against Hong Kong and Russia in their first two matches.
Looking ahead to the Tanzania match, Kim Lars Bjorkegren believes his side will face a tough test, although he concedes that the Black Queens head into the encounter as the favourites.
“Yeah. I mean, that's probably going to be the most-tricky one, because we play against another African country that absolutely wants to beat us. They will be the underdogs.
“We know that they have a young talent group of players that they're going to run a lot, they're going to tackle a lot. So, if we are not there, they, for sure, are going to win the game. So, we need to be happy tonight and then back to training tomorrow, and then show up in the last game against Tanzania,” Kim Lars Bjorkegren said after the win against Russia.
The match between Ghana and Tanzania is scheduled for Friday, March 6.
