Hearts of Oak secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nations FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with Hanza Issah delivering the decisive moment in the 69th minute.
Issah found the net with a close-range header after meeting a well-delivered cross. Earlier in the game, he had missed a similar opportunity when his header drifted off target, but he made no mistake when the second chance arrived.

The result marks back-to-back home wins for Hearts of Oak since their move from the Accra Sports Stadium to the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
The Phobians controlled the match, dominating possession and producing seven shots on target. Nations FC struggled to create openings and managed only one effort on target throughout the contest.
The victory lifts Hearts of Oak to third place, though the position remains provisional as several teams below them have yet to play. Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side will, however, need to sharpen their performance ahead of their next fixture against league leaders Aduana FC.
For Nations FC, the defeat extends their difficulties on the road. They will look to recover quickly before hosting Young Apostles in Abrankese in their next outing.
