Eleven Wonders head coach Emmanuel Aidoo has disclosed that the team’s inability to convert chances is responsible for their poor form in the Ghana Premier League.
The coach took charge of the team just last month, after the resignation of two coaches before him. He faces the tough task of turning around Eleven Wonders' poor form to ensure they avoid relegation.
Speaking ahead of the team’s encounter against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League during Week 14, Emmanuel Aidoo reflected on the defeat to Swedru All Blacks in the last outing.
According to him, although the team missed out on the points, they are determined to keep working hard to climb out of the relegation zone.
“We are on a mission, and it’s not over until it’s over. We have lost, but we have not given up. We will keep on working and working upon the mission is accomplished,” coach Aidoo told Eleven Wonders TV.
To improve the team’s poor form, the coach indicated that his team has been working on improving their finishing during training sessions this week.
“It’s all about us taking our chances. So today we really worked on finishes and set pieces. So we are working,” coach Aidoo added.
The Week 14 fixture between Bechem United and Eleven Wonders will be played on Sunday, December 14.
