Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has disclosed that playing for Tottenham Hotspur comes with pressure to win every match, whether home or away.
The Black Stars sensation signed for Spurs in a big transfer move from West Ham United during the last summer transfer window.
Although he has not hit his best form, Kudus has impressed at his new club, scoring two goals in the English Premier League and providing five assists, the joint highest in the division.
Opening up on playing for Tottenham Hotspur, the 25-year-old has admitted that it comes with a lot of pressure.
“Home or away, there's pressure to win every game, especially playing for a big club like Tottenham. So, the pressure has always been there, but definitely we want to do our best to win more games, whether at home or away, but more importantly, especially in front of our home fans.
“Definitely, this Saturday was a good boost, and thanks to the fans for their support, because we are all in this together. So, we just need to build on that and then kill it tomorrow as well,” Kudus said during a pre-match conference ahead of the UEFA Champions League encounter against Slavia Prague.
Tottenham Hotspur will host Slavia Prague on Tuesday in a fixture scheduled to kick off at 8 pm.
