Vision FC and Young Apostles settled for a goalless draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium in Tema on Sunday, as both sides failed to make their chances count in a closely contested Premier League encounter.
Vision, looking to halt a difficult run of results, enjoyed the better share of possession and created the clearer openings. They produced six shots, four on target, but found the Young Apostles goalkeeper in solid form throughout.
The visitors, who came into the fixture on a two-game drawing streak, remained compact and chose their moments to attack. They registered five attempts, three of which tested the hosts’ defence, yet lacked precision in front of goal.
Defensively, both sides were well organised, making space in the final third hard to come by. The tempo increased late on as Vision pushed for a breakthrough, but Young Apostles stayed disciplined to protect a valuable point away from home.
The result leaves Vision FC in 12th place with 15 points while Young Apostles remain 9th on 17 points. Both clubs will see this as a missed opportunity to climb the table, but the draw keeps them within reach of the top half as the season progresses.
