Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has shared a positive update ahead of their important match against Hohoe United, revealing that two key players could return to the squad.
Zito explained that Walid Neymar Fuseini and Seth Kwadwo will likely rejoin the team as they prepare for Sunday’s game. Their return would be a welcome boost for the Porcupine Warriors, who have been battling injury challenges since the start of the season.
Kotoko enter the fixture with a mixed run of form, three draws, one win, and one defeat in their last five games. Zito noted that injuries have been their biggest obstacle, but he remains hopeful that more players are making their way back into the squad.
"Well, so far most likely we will get Neymar and Seth to join us. Last week we had Philip and sure we might have Neymar and Seth also to join him," he told Asante Kotoko TV.
Asante Kotoko currently sit 5th on the league table with 21 points after 12 matches. They face Hohoe United on Sunday at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
