Karim Zito is keeping his attention on getting the best out of his Asante Kotoko players as they prepare for another key league match.
The head coach believes his role is to guide the squad properly so they can give strong performances every week.
He stressed that giving the players enough rest is now a big part of his plan, especially with games coming quickly. Kotoko face Basake Holy Stars at the AAK II Arena on Wednesday in their outstanding match-week three fixture, and Zito wants his team fresh and ready.
"We have to manage ourselves and I have to do my best and manage the players the most important thing is their resting period where I make sure that they rest for the next assignment. Again I have been saying it all the time the moment you allow yourself to recruited by any institution that is your destiny and you have to go by it. So those of us here we are have agreed to work for Asante Kotoko whatever situation we find ourselves we have to change the narrative and then do our best to achieve our target," as aired by Peace FM.
Kotoko are in excellent form. Their draw with FC Samartex stretched their unbeaten run to 10 matches, leaving them as the only team yet to lose in the league this season.
