Samartex goalkeeper Zakari Musah has been named the Goalkeeper of the Month for October after a series of composed and efficient performances between the posts.
The young shot-stopper enjoyed a fine run throughout the month, keeping two clean sheets and conceding only two goals in four matches. His reliability at the back played a crucial role in Samartex’s unbeaten spell.
Zakari’s command of his area, sharp reflexes, and confidence under pressure stood out across the month, giving him the edge over fellow contenders Lawrence Osei of Heart of Lions and Young Apostles’ Zulka Masawudu.
His recognition arrives at a time when Samartex continue to build on their impressive start to the Ghana Premier League campaign, as they are currently in seventh place heading into week 11.
As part of his reward, Zakari Musah will receive a prize package from the Ex-Goalkeepers Union, which includes a pair of gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
