Young Apostles head coach Abu Hanan has assured supporters that his side will deliver the result they expect when they face Hearts of Oak on November 23 at the Wenchi Stadium in a Week 11 Ghana Premier League fixture.
The Wenchi-based side enter the match eighth on the table with 14 points from ten games, while Hearts sit sixth with 17 points.
Hanan urged fans to attend their home clash and backed his players to respond strongly after their narrow defeat to Asante Kotoko.
“Just what you have seen, and since it is going to be our home match, I wish you could come and see football there. We are going to play football, and we are going to give our supporters the needed results,” Hanan said.
Young Apostles showed resilience in their last outing despite losing 2â1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko opened the scoring six minutes after the restart through Hubert Gyau, whose fine finish handed the hosts control.
The Apostles responded within three minutes when Richmond Opoku climbed highest to head in a well-worked equaliser.
Kotoko's attacking push was rewarded in stoppage time, as captain Samba O’Neil converted a late penalty to seal victory and push the Porcupine Warriors to fourth with 19 points.
