FIFA World Cup 2026⢠ticket holders travelling to the United States can now access the FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (FIFA PASS), a service designed to streamline visa interviews for fans attending matches.
The system was unveiled at a White House event attended by President Donald J. Trump, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, members of the White House Task Force, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino. FIFA PASS allows ticket holders to secure priority visa appointments, making it easier for fans to attend the tournament.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the announcement as a significant milestone, saying, “America welcomes the world. This will be the greatest and most inclusive FIFA World Cup in history, and FIFA PASS is a concrete example of that.” He thanked U.S. leaders for their support in preparing to welcome fans from around the globe next June.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio added, “We are offering prioritized appointments so FIFA World Cup fans can complete their visa interviews efficiently. The tournament is approaching, and now is the time to apply. We are proud to host the greatest and safest World Cup in history.”
The 2026 World Cup will feature over six million tickets across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Fans requiring a U.S. visa should apply immediately through the FIFA PASS system. Further details will be shared with ticket holders in early 2026.
Fans from countries in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) may also be eligible to travel using the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
Earlier this year, FIFA and the World Trade Organization released a study highlighting the economic impact of the tournament in the U.S., projecting 185,000 full-time jobs, USD 30.5 billion in gross output, and USD 17.2 billion added to the country’s GDP.
