Paul Atta Agyei struck late as Heart of Lions returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Kpando Stadium.
The second half substitute made a huge impact following his introduction in the 65th minute, scoring in injury time to secure all three points for the hosts.
Heart of Lions started brightly and had calls for a penalty waved on in the fifth minute before Ishmael Addo missed from close range.
The Kpando-based club were forced into early changes after Yaw Danso picked an injury and was replaced by George Osei moments after Berekum Chelsea had rattled the post.
Both sides went into the break without a goal, but Lions had the first attempt on target in the second half through forward Michael Ephson.
Lions coach Bashiru Hayford brought on Atta Agyei for Samuel Boamah before Seedorf Asante, who was making a return from injury, came on for Kwadjo Obeng Jr.
The substitution proved crucial with Atta Agyei scoring a late winner for the home side.
