Nana Kwame Dankwa, Chairman of the Asante Kotoko Greater Accra Circles, says supporters in the capital are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the team triumphs over Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
He explained that since the match will not be played in Kumasi, fans in Accra have a duty to show up strongly and lift the team at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Nana Kwame stressed that Kotoko’s preparations have been steady since their arrival in Accra last week, and the players need the fans behind them to make the difference.
"The arrangement with Asante Kotoko the game will not come on in Kumasi its coming on in Accra on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium 3pm. In view of this the team has landed in Accra since last Sunday they are preparing day in day out ahead of the big game on Sunday," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com
"As we all know the game been played in Accra it is our responsibility as supporters in Accra our responsibility to make sure has prepared well and get a good victory.
"So we are doing everything in our power to make sure that the team will doing well on Sunday what remains is that the supporters in Accra will accept the challenge and support the team in our physical presence and make sure that we put Kwara in their right position,"
