Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah has dispelled rumours of disharmony amongst his teammates, after they visibly expressed frustration in their disappointing 3-1 defeat against Sivasspor at home.
Yeni Malatyaspor had failed to record a win in their last five league matches, tumbling down the league table from third position from match day nine to 9th after losing to Sivasspor.
Before Sunday's game against Besiktas, a team of journalists had gathered at Malatyaspor's training ground to interview the midfielder on the situation at the club. Speaking to the media, Afriyie expressed believes there's peace and unity between teammates.
" Sometimes on the field, there may be some calls against each other with our own friends due to extreme winning passion. There's no problem between us and friends. All we think about is to win"
Afriyie created the chance for the first goal in their latest win against Besiktas away from home. This is his third assist this season after . Yeni Malatyaspor will travel to play the second leg of the Turkey Cup match against Keciorengucu tomorrow.
