Ghanaian youngster Eric Appiah hopes to make Club Brugge first team

Club Brugge winger, Eric Appiah has expressed confidence in joining the Club's first team squad, sooner rather than later.

Eric has become a significant part of Club Brugge's U19 side, who have qualified for the knockout out stages of the UEFA Youth league after a 2-2 against Real Madrid in Belgium

"The season is not over yet, but i have gone far because it’s not easy playing in both the league and in Europe, especially for a club like Club Brugge."

"it’s academy and they really want talented players, but I have learnt a lot here that talent is not enough in football. To have the right trait and a show of great character is extremely important"

"I started the season with the first team and played a couple of games. I remember travelling with the and scoring two goals in my first two trail matches during pre season. The coach was really impressed with performance, that gave me enough assurance "

"I have seen significant improvement in my game and continue to work hard to take it to the next level. My ambition now is to earn promotion to the first team which I believe should happen sooner rather than later "

Eric has become the go- to- guy for his team as he's been at the centre of almost every single attacking move. His league form has also been impressive, with three goals and an assist in 9 league matches.
