The Fiji Football Federation have revealed that ex-Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic is expensive for them to hire.
President of the federation, Rajesh Patel disclosed the Association could not afford the Serbian tactician despite reports he had secured the job.
The Fiji FA received over 30 applications for the vacant job, including Goran Stevanovic's CV.
An appointment is expected to be made before Christmas.
Goran 'Plavi' Stevanovic has massive experience in coaching and led Ghana between 2011 and 2012.
His tenure as Ghana coach saw the Black Stars finish fourth at the Nations Cup in Gabon-Equatorial Guinea 2012.
