Ghanaian youngster Kamal Sowah scored to rescue a 2-2 draw for OH Leuven against KSV Roeselare in the Belgian Proximus League on Friday.
After their painful 3-2 loss at Lommel SK last week, OH Leuven went into the clash against Roeselare with the aim of returning to winning ways.
The Blue and White lads were indeed put in the driving seat after Thomas Henry gave them the opener after 14 minutes of the clock.
But the lead did not last as Esteban Casagolda leveled the score line for the hosts with a simple finish in the 37th minute.
OH Leuven restored their lead nine minutes after recess through Kamal Sowah. The Ghanaian reacted quickly to poke home from close range.
However, Amir Nouri ensured the points was split after hammering the leveler on the 70th minute mark.
Sowah was replaced by Aboubakar Keita in the 72nd minute.
The draw extended OH Leuven lead at the summit of the log to 35 points — five more than second place team Virton — after 18 round of matches.
He has netted three goals in 17 games for the side in the ongoing campaign.
