Ghana and Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has narrated how he felt after scoring his maiden professional goal.
The Inter Milan defender horned his talent at the famous Ghana top-tier side Liberty Professionals before moving to Italy in 2008 - where he has netted some memorable goals in over 350 appearances in the Italian Serie A
However, one that has stuck with the 30-year-old was his strike for the Ghana U-20 side against Senegal in a friendly encounter.
"I will never forget the emotions of my first goal as a professional: it was a match of the Under-20 national team and we played against Senegal. We were away from home and, since that team was full of great players, I was still entering among the holders. That day I played from the first minute, the coach gave me confidence and I scored with a counterbalance, collecting a cross from the right. Just a nice shot ". This is recalled by Kwadwo Asamoah, interviewed for today's Matchday Program.
"Among my favorite players there is undoubtedly Adriano. He threw certain beatings ... - recalls the Ghanaian outsider -. Inter is a great team, a great company. On a personal level it changed me and I'm really very happy."
