European football specialist, Herbert Boakye Yiadom brings to you how Ghanaian players performed on Friday and Saturday in their respective leagues.
As the leagues across the world goes on a break to pave way for the qualifiers and friendly matches to be played among countries I bring to you Ghanaian players scattered across the world performed in their respective clubs.
I start off with Alfred Duncan who played the full throttle for Sassuolo as they were thrashed at home by Sampdora. Duncan scored his fourth goal of the season in the game which ended 5-3 in favor of Sassuolo. Duncan will join the Black Stars for the upcoming AFCON qualifier against Kenya on March 23.
Albert Adomah came off the bench to score as Aston Villa walloped Middlesbrough 3-0 to jump into the Championship play-offs position.

ENGLAND
In the FA Cup, Jeffrey Schlupp played 90 minutes for Crystal Palace as they lost 2-1 to Watford. Jordan Ayew was unused substitute for the losers
In the Premier League Daniel Amartey missed Leicester City game against Burnley due to injury.
Cristian Astu saw 19 minutes of action for Newcastle United as they drew 2-2 against Bournemouth
In the Championship, Andy Yiadom lasted 90 minutes for Reading as they held Stoke City to a goalless draw.

In League One, Tarique Fosu was introduced into the game for Charlton Athletic in the 76th minute as they drew 0-0 against Bristol Rovers
Joe Dodo saw 32 minutes of action for Blackpool as they lost heavily to Burton by 3-0
In League Two, Hiram Boateng saw 80 minutes of action for Exeter City in their 3-0 win over Colchester
Koby Arthur and Enoch Andoh were not included in the match day squad for Macclesfield Town against Yeovil
In the National League, Bernard Mensah was substituted in the 89th minute for Aldershot as they lost 1-0 to Salford
Ofori-Twumasi Nana lasted 90 minutes for Maidenhead as they lost 1-0 to Harrogate. Fellow compatriot Nana Owusu warmed the bench
SPAIN
In the La Liga, Raphael Dwamena was not included in the match day squad for Levante in their 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad
Thomas Partey played 90 minutes for Atletico Madrid as they lost 2-0 to Atletico Bilbao.
Mubarak Wakaso saw six minutes of action for Alaves in their 3-1 win over Huesca. Fellow compatriot Patrick Twumasi was left on the bench
In the Segunda Division, Sulley Muntari was not included in the match day squad of Albacete over the weekend.
Richard Boateng was not added to the match day squad of AD Alcorcon in their game against Tenerife
FRANCE
In the Ligue 2, Ebenezer Assifuah warmed the bench for Le Havre in their 3-1 win over AS Ajaccio
John Boye featured 90 minutes for Metz in their 3-0 win over Niort
Elisha Owusu played full throttle for Sochaux as they drew against Troyes. Lawrence Ati-Zigi warmed the bench for Sochaux
GERMANY
Derrick Luckassen missed Hertha Berlin 3-2 defeat by Dortmund due to injury.
Kassim Nuhu Adams missed Hoffenheim’s 1-1 draw against Stuttgart
In the Bundesliga II, Gideon Jung was not included in Heindenham’s match day squad against Union Berlin
In the Budesliga III, Bernard Kyere lasted 90 minutes for Fortuna Koln in their 1-1 draw against Uerdingen. Team mate Christopher Antwi was not included in the match day squad.
Noah Awuku lasted seven minutes for Holstein Kiel in their 5-1 win over Aue.
Daniel-Kofi Kyereh lasted 89 minutes whilst Agyemang Diawusie saw 16 minutes of action for SV Wehen in their 2-0 win over Preussen Munster
