AFC Wimbledon manager Wally Downes was full of praises for Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah after his late winner secured his side progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Appiah starred in Wimbledon's 3-2 win over Fleetwood Town, providing an assist and scoring a dramatic late winner on Saturday.
The 28 year old forward has scored two in his last two games and manager Wally Downes is happy with the striker's recent form but wants the workload on the forward shared.
“Kwesi made Anthony’s goal as well," said Wally. "It has been difficult for him to play up front on his own and I want to get someone up there with him."
"The formation that we played here today and at Portsmouth was forced upon us really, but I think we played well in both games."
"I want to get someone up there to share the load, as working up there on your own against two uncompromising centre backs is difficult. To keep going up there on his own and get the winner was terrific for him."
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations revelation is keen on making the Black Stars team for AFCON 2019, following his return to form in England.
