Management member of Asante Kotoko Edmund Ackah says the Porcupine Warriors are the best club in the country at the moment.
According to Mr. Ackah, the Kumasi based club chose to represent Ghana on the continent because they are strong enough to compete.
“The team of the moment in Ghana now is Kotoko. Hearts of Oak is not strong enough to compete and that is we did not hear of them when we (Kotoko) were fighting for the slot to play in Africa.” Edmund Ackah said on Nhyira FM.
The record Ghana Premier League champions will be playing Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks in the CAF Confederation on Saturday, and ahead of the tie, Mr. Ackah has called on fans of the club to troop in their numbers to come support the Reds.
“What we are saying is that we want our supporters to storm the stadium to help us beat Kariobangi Sharks. And I say this again that we do not need the help of referees to beat them. We only need our fans come in numbers to support us.” he added.
