Ghanaian forward Sadat Karim is hoping to help his new club Halmstad BK to qualify to the Swedish top-flight league.
Karim joined HBK on a two-year deal as a free agent after leaving Landskrona Bois at the end of the just-ended season.
The 27-year-old has already set a target of helping the club win promotion to the Allsvenskan.
“I will work hard to make sure that the club goes up to Allsvenskan. It’s the biggest goal,” he said.
The former Hearts of Oak striker, scored 11 goals, five assists in 28 matches for relegated side Landskrona Bois in the just ended season.
He registered 70 goals in 109 matches since his move to Sweden in 2015.
Halmstad BK already have Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Boakye in their fold.
