French gaffer Alain Giresse has been appointed as the new head coach of the Tunisia national team.
Giresse is replacing Faouzi Benzarti who was sacked in October after just three months in charge.
The 66 year-old will be in charge of the Carthage Eagles till 2020 as he was unveiled on Thursday.
The task will be to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and provide a solid foundation for qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.
Giresse has had stints with Gabon, Mali and Senegal.
