Ghana winger Emmanuel Oti Essigba is confident that Esbjerg FB will bounce back from their recent poor form ahead of Friday’s encounter against Aalborg BK in the Danish SuperLig.
The Blue and White lads has for the second time this season endured a two-game winless run in the Danish top-flight following a 2-1 and 1-1 stalemate against OB Odense and Vendsyssel respectively.
With John Lammers' men hosting Aalborg at the Blue Water Arena on Friday evening, Oti Essibga has promised their teeming supporters that they will use the game to end the disappointing run of results.
"It has not been easy ride for us in the last few days because of the two defeats we suffered, but we knew it'd happen in a division like this where most of the teams are of great quality," Oti told the club's official mouthpiece.
"We created so many chances in the last game which if we had converted, we would've bettered our points on the table but football is sometime like that and we cannot always look back at what we did right or wrong but we have been given another opportunity to rewrite the wrongs, I will call it second chance."
"I want all our fans to come and cheer us on. I normally don't make promises in football but I can assure them of victory in this match so they should also come and support us."
Despite missing some games through injury, Oti has managed 12 appearances out of 17 games with one assist to his credit in the ongoing season.
