Mali forward Fatoumata Diarra says her side is ready for the semifinals of the Africa Women's Cup of Nations against the high scoring South Africa on Tuesday.
The West Africans made history by reaching their first ever semis at the biennial tournament after beating hosts Ghana and Algeria in group A.
But they come up against group B winners South Africa, who have scored 9 goals in three games but Mali striker Fatoumata Diarra isn't worried by the attacking threat posed by the Bayana Bayana.
"It is true that we have made history by making it to the semi-finals for the first time. I must say it is not easy to come this far. We need to win against South Africa so we are hoping to achieve that," Fatoumata said ahead of the game.
"Yes, South Africa have scored a lot of goals in this tournament but every game has its own dynamics. The reality of this game will be determined on the field and we will see that tomorrow," she added.
