Former head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, Ricardo Da Rocha has been linked with the vacant Asante Kotoko job following the resignation of Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The Brazilian gaffer could be in the country in the coming days to begin negotiations with the Porcupine Warriors after a stellar campaign with Ebusua Dwarfs a season ago.
Da Rocha, a former Brazilian footballer had a stunning season with Dwarfs in the 2017, helping the crabs finish a high fourth place.
However, he left amid reports of unpaid wages.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko look set to replace Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin, who tendered in his resignation on Thursday after seven months in charge.
Other names to have popped up for the vacant role are former Hearts of Oak manager Frank Nuttal and Yussif Abubakar, formerly with Aduana Stars. '
The Porcupine Warriors will be led by assistant coach Akakpo Paton in the meantime, until a substantive manager is appointed.
Kotoko's friendly against Ashantigold on Sunday has been postponed to Sepetem 23rd.
