Kenya national team, Harambee Stars will play the Malawi national team in a friendly match on Tuesday 11th September at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
The friendly match comes right after Stars' Saturday 8th September 1 - 0 win over Ghana in a 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification match that was played at Kasarani.
The East Africans beat the West Africans courtesy of a Nicholas Opoku first half own goal. Despite playing the better part of the second half a man down following Joash Onyango's dismissal, Stars managed to rebuff Ghana's attacks to pick maximum points from the match.
Malawi on the other hand went down 3-0 to Morocco in another AFCON qualifier in Morocco on Saturday evening.
The two teams last faced off in a non-FIFA friendly match in 2017 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, which ended in a barren stalemate.
The friendly match will kick off at 1600hrs.
