Director of LaLiga Africa Antonio Barradas says his outfit are ever ready to offer free consultancy service to Ghana amid crises that has rocked its football following the Anas Number12 expose.
Football in the West African country has been halted following the investigative piece by ace journalist Anas Aremayaw which captured some prominent members of the football fraternity engaging in various acts of corruption.
Several advocates were outraged at the content of the documentary which prompted the government to file a petition to liquidate the football governing body describing it as “an obscene emblem of scandal, corruption and illegal enterprise.
However, there seem to be an end in sight for the crisis with the impending arrival of the FIFA Normalization Committee that will run Ghana football from now till 31st March 2018.
The Committee which is expected to be announced by close of this week is expected to replace the dissolved Executive Committee of the GFA and come up with a roadmap for the elections of officials to administer football in the country.
According to Antonio Barradas, La Liga has been offering assistance to Nigeria to help restore sanity in the administration of their game and his outfit are ready to help Ghana take its football to the next level should the West African country reach out to them.
“First you need to get your house in order and if you get your house in order we will come and do it for free. We have done it in Nigeria. We have opened offices in Nigeria and working close with South Africa Federation. So if it’s something we can help, La Liga is ready to help Africa football."
"I represent La Liga Africa and we are going step by step. We cannot go to every country so we are doing everything slowly. We went to South Africa and Nigeria and definitely, we will come to Ghana. If they need our help then we will bring some people from Spain. As I said we have a winning module and we can pass it over," he said.
