Albert Adomah's proposed move to Middlesbrough from Aston Villa broke down due to the terms of the deal, it has emerged.
Villa boss Steve Bruce told the Ghanaian to look for a new club before the transfer window shut on August 31.
But the 30-year-old failed to re-sign with his former club over terms of the arrangement.
Tony Pulis’s Boro were willing to re-sign the 30-year-old Ghana international winger only on a temporary basis but Villa wanted the deal to be permanent.
Adomah would have been a good signing for Middlesbrough, and the winger himself would have got more playing time at the Riverside Stadium.
However, the 30-year-old can still play an important role for Steve Bruce's Villans this campaign just as he did last season.
