Ghanaian defender Jacob Akrong GOLAZO earns point for C.A Zacapetec against Celaya in Mexico

Ghanaian defender Jacob Nii Martey Akrong scored a late goal for Club Atlético Zacapetec in their 1-1 draw against Celaya in the Mexican Ascent MX.

Celaya shot into the lead through Andres Ramirez from a close range in the 73rd minute.

The equalizer for the visitors came in the 90th minute, courtesy Ghanaian guardsman Jacob Akrong, who surprised the goalkeeper with an incredible curling shot on the edge of the area. 

The draw propelled the Green and White lads to 6th on the standings with 8 points after six games.

Akrong joined the Zacapetec from Spanish lower-tier side Palamos CF mid-last month.
