Ghana’s deaf football team, the Black Wonders thrashed their Benninoise counterparts by 9 goals to nil in the opening game of the West Africa Deaf Football tournament.
The Black Wonders posted the heavy win after an impressive performance at the 8th edition of the tournament in Lome, Togo.
Nana Amoako and Eric Nyame both bagged hat-tricks with Richard Abaka, Gayheart Clayman and Joseph Ghanasah all getting a goal apiece.
The first 45 minuets of the game ended in a 5:0 lead in favor of the Wonders and the 4 goals in the second part of the game as they dominated from the raise of the flag to the end of the game.
Ghana missed out on the last edition and announced their return and intention to win the tournament with the mighty win against Benin.
