Richard Boateng will begin pre-season with Real Oviedo on July 9.
The Ghanaian has joined the Spanish second-tier on a two-year deal from Union Deportiva Melilla.
The 22-year-old is expected to join his new teammates for the start of their pre-season campaign on July 9.
The African scored 14 goals for Melilla last season where he stood out for his physical display and great control of the ball.
