Ivorian Star Yaya Toure's agent insists African witch Doctors will curse Pep Guardiola for his treatment of the player

Former Manchester City star Yaya Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk has made a shocking revelation claiming African witch doctors will curse Pep Guardiola for his treatment of the Ivorian. 

Yaya Toure left Manchester City at the end of the season and accused Guardiola of hating African players after his relationship with the Spaniard went bad during the campaign.

Toure's agent Dimitri Seluk has now echoed his client's words, and suggested that "African shamans" – a term that can be construed to mean witch doctors or sangomas – will prevent Guardiola from lifting the UEFA Champions League in the future.

"God sees everything. As a man who acted with Yaya, the legend of the club, which under different pretexts did not give the opportunity to go on the field," he said, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.

"He turned all Africa against himself, many African fans turned away from Manchester City. And I'm sure that many African shamans in the future will not allow Guardiola to win the Champions League.

"This will be, for Guardiola, an African curse. Life will show whether I am right or not."

Seluk also insisted that Guardiola only goes to clubs with good structures and lots of money, before labelling the Spaniard's treatment of Toure as a "crime".

"If you assign my grandmother to Bayern Munich, the team will still become the champions! There's a consistency with Guardiola's choice: go to clubs with a huge budget, which, without him, become champions all the time," he added

"After Guardiola in the next two or three years will not win the Champions League with Manchester City he will be kicked out, perhaps Yaya will return to the club, and in any capacity.

"The fact that Guardiola ended Yaya's career in Manchester City is not even a mistake, but a crime. But the boomerang will return, Pep. You will still see what the African shamans are. Remember this always.

"At Benfica, there is the curse of coach Bela Guttmann, after which the team loses all the European cup finals. And Guardiola will beat this record, despite the money injected into him."
