“Ofcourse I want to win the league with Brann. We have three more games to finish the first round so there are a lot of games to end the season. But hopefully I will give my best to the club so we can go on to win it but we will take it bit by bit,” he added.
The success of Brann has made Gilbert very attractive in the football market. Clubs in the Netherlands and Turkey have reported their interest and last week there was also an Italian club present to watch Kroomson when Brann struck Rosenborg.
"In the beginning, I thought this was exciting, almost every day getting phones from scouts and agents, this was not common to me" says Gilbert.
"But then I realized that this only removes the focus of the important that is to play best possible for Brann. So now I have told my agent at Tempo Sports Group, Mikail Adampour, that I do not want to know anything about inquiries until something is concrete. And that my focus is winning the league with Brann And Get the chance to represent my country."
