Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso refused to travel with the Black Stars to Japan for Wednesday's friendly against the Blue Samurai over a dispute over appearance fee, according to circling reports.
The Deportivo Alaves player rejected the US$ 2,000 for each game instead of the regular U$ 5,000 for the matches against Japan and Iceland.
Torino player Afriyie Acquah also failed to travel with the team on Saturday but flew out on Monday night alongside Black Stars management committee chairman Winfred Osei.
The Ghana Football Association has been mum on the issue as squad has assembled in Japan for the match.
