Ghanaian striker Ben Acheampong insists he is the best striker in the Egyptian League despite an injury troubled season.
The forward has been in and out f the Zamalek team due to injuries and poor form. But insists when he is fully fit he is the best striker in the North African country.
Moroccan forward Walid Azarou tops the goal king chat in Egypt with 18 goals followed closely by Ghanaian forward John Antwi, who has scored 16 this season.
Acheampong praised the efforts of all the strikers on the goal scoring chat and indicated all of them see themselves as the best and so does he see himself too.
"There are many excellent strikers on the Egyptian scene at the moment, such as Morocco's Walid Azaro, Niger Junior Ajay, Egyptian striker Ahmed Jumaa and his compatriot John Antwi," Acheampong said.
He concluded that he sees his Nigerian colleague Maarouf Youssef as one of the best foreigners in the Egyptian league. He plays in more than one position at any time the coach needs.
Acheampong joined Zamalek from Egyptian side Al Dakheliya after spell with Petro Luanda in Angola and Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Ghana.
